Mentor Guidance: My mentor was fantastic! She gave me great insight and advice for class selection, and also guided me through my recruiting and internships. I also learned a lot from her about life at business school and the application process.
Fellow Dougan Scholars: I like and admire how diverse the backgrounds of my fellow Dougan Scholars are. They excel in fields across tech, finance, consulting, entrepreneurship, sports, fashion, etc. I have learned a lot from other scholars, many of whom became my study partners and very good friends.
Prepare for MBA: Through the Dougan Scholars program, I had the opportunity to take a wide range of Booth classes, from finance to marketing to data mining. Being in classes of different formats, I was able to closely interact with distinguished Booth professors and MBA classmates of diverse backgrounds. In addition, the program director and my Dougan Scholar mentor gave me direct advice for business school applications.
