Approximately 240 students will matriculate in the Executive MBA Program in June 2017. All candidates are informed of admission decisions via email or postal mail. The Chicago, London, and Hong Kong campuses handle admission processes for their own locations. Some of the decision notification dates may be slightly different. If you have questions about decision dates, please contact the campus location you are applying to.
All application decisions fall into the following categories:
- Admit: Applicant is admitted in the program for the year that he or she applies. A deposit or "advance tuition fee" will be required, along with a signed acceptance letter and letter of company support in order to reserve a seat.
- Deny: Applicant is not offered a space in the class for the year in which he or she applies.
- Future Quarter: Applicant is admitted to the program starting in the year following the application year (for example, if the applicant applied for the class starting in 2016, applicant will be accepted for the class starting in 2017).
- Waitlist: A final decision cannot be made, and applicant will be asked to wait for a later admission decision.
International Applicants and Executive MBA Program North America
An international applicant to the Chicago campus program is anyone who is not a US citizen or US permanent resident at the time of application. Executive MBA students are not eligible for student visas. Admission to Chicago Booth does not guarantee nonimmigrant status in the United States.
