Something I really love about Chicago Booth, in particular the Evening and Weekend Program, is it’s the same degree as our Full-Time Program counterparts. We have the same professors, the same coursework, pretty much the same design, except that we have a little bit more flexibility, in terms of the number of years we take to graduate. Students in the Evening and Weekend Program are working, are going to school at the same time, so they’re having that dual education. We already know what we want in our careers, but end of the day we are one Booth and I’ve never felt that it’s been a different or separate program.
Career Changes While at Booth
Since staring Booth, I have completely switched industries and roles from accounting in hospitality to consulting within banking and financial services.
What Surprised You Most About Booth?
I knew Booth had a close-knit community within Chicago, but I was surprised to see the extent of the community all over the world. It’s a good feeling to belong to such a big family.
Advice to Anyone Considering Business School
Business school is a one-time investment in you that has life-long dividends. It’s not about the grades as much as it is shaping who you’ll become.
