Booth brings about this culture of collaboration. People are invested in my goals and I'm invested in other people's goals. I went to the University of Chicago as an undergrad. After school, I worked in financial services. I was looking for something a little bit more creative. I decided to pursue marketing.

One of the first things that drew me to marketing at Booth was the way that Booth focuses on that quantitative aspect, but also it was really the community. Right away, you just get this flood of support from second-years, from alums, and from faculty and career services.

You can see the support of the school as well, through the Kilts Marketing Center. It really offers a lot of programming for students. They have a mentorship program, they do a marketing week, they bring in a lot of speakers from various different companies. They've really been invaluable. By the time I got into recruiting, I felt so ready for the challenge.

Being a part of the community at Booth has made me grow so much. I'm involved with the Korean Business Group and Economies of Scale, which is the acapella group. People really put as much effort into these student groups as they do into their classes. They want to challenge themselves and really try out different things. This place is a unique community where you're given the resources, but also the flexibility to really go after what you want to pursue.
Favorite Class
Professor Sanjay Dhar is very engaging and genuinely interested in every student in his class. I loved talking to him during his office hours, too.
