As students embark on their MBA experience, their involvement in student-led groups and clubs tends to play a prominent role in forming a collaborative community during their time at Booth. We have a multitude of student-led groups and clubs available ranging from career-focused and special interest groups to social groups, athletic groups, diversity groups and more. With many options to choose from, Boothies have a wide array of opportunities to interact with one another and create new experiences. Booth Outdoors expands the MBA experience and strengthens the Booth community through adventures beyond the classroom into the great outdoors.

Booth Marketing Club

Booth Marketing Club is a nonprofit student association organized to provide Evening MBA and Weekend MBA students with a forum for the exchange of marketing ideas, to educate students about topics and trends in the field, and to improve skills necessary to succeed in the marketing industry.

Booth Product Management Club

Booth Product Management Club promotes an understanding of the multifaceted discipline of product management and aims to connect the future leaders at Booth with the current leaders in this field from around the world.

Chicago Booth Finance Club

Chicago Booth Finance Club aims to provide an environment for students to share experiences with others interested in working in finance-related fields and to identify career growth and enhancement opportunities for members.

Chicago Booth Healthcare Club

Chicago Booth Healthcare Club looks to enhance students’ understanding of business functions, trends, and careers that exist in the health-care sector.

Investment Management Club

The Investment Management Club provides opportunities to gain exposure to and delve deeper into the richness of the investment management field.

Our team has been able to host speaker events with portfolio managers and analysts, as well as provide opportunities for students to learn about how to pitch stocks and source investment ideas. Coalition of Minorities in Business

The Coalition of Minorities in Business (CMB) group serves as an advocate for the Black, Latino, and Native American student populations with an objective to educate future business leaders on the benefits of diversity in business leadership.

“I work alongside the other co-chairs to plan social, cultural, and professional events to enhance the student experience for underrepresented students of color and the entire Booth community. In addition, CMB co-chairs are present at LAUNCH to welcome students of color to Booth and discuss ways that they can navigate their first quarter. Being a part of CMB has allowed me to develop a profound sense of community and to improve my leadership skills. Graduate Women in Business

Graduate Women in Business (GWB) is a nonprofit student association organized to provide women of Chicago Booth a forum for professional development, mentoring, and networking, both within the school and in the community at large.

“Serving on the GWB board allows me to not only build a support system for Booth women but also develop stronger bonds with the community. Student Advisory Council

The mission of the Student Advisory Council (SAC) is to continuously improve the Chicago Booth Evening MBA and Weekend MBA experience by responding to the dynamic needs of the student population and collaborating with the programs, alumni, and Career Services offices to drive visible, meaningful change.

Booth Communications Club

The Booth Communications Club (BCC) was founded with the goal of providing the right environment and motivation for students to develop skills in public speaking, sales presentations, and meeting management.

“The members of our energetic club offered me a chance to teach, learn, and grow as a contributor and collaborator in the Booth community. In 2023, BCC will be exploring new community engagement through collaborations with other popular student clubs. Booth Social Impact

The mission of Booth Social Impact (BSI) is to foster a culture of social impact at Booth by providing the Part-Time student community with resources that prepare them for careers in the social sector, opportunities to serve their communities, and avenues to channel their curiosities about the problems facing our world.

“BSI consulting is a lot of work, but that's what makes it a great and unique bonding experience. Nonprofits are depending on the team for help with a strategic goal, so the team (five students and one alumni coach) is highly committed and engaged for the quarter-long project. It's the only opportunity I know of where you get to work with people so consistently outside of class. It's better than a class group project because everyone is instantly connected by their passion for the nonprofit client and everyone has a unique background that helps others learn new skills and grow professionally.” – Kathleen McGing, President of Booth Social Impact
