My immediate goal is to help steer the teachers union through a complete organizational restructuring to empower our members for the political and financial challenges ahead. With national right-to-work on the horizon, I hope to introduce innovative solutions to help unions not only survive, but thrive.
Why did you choose to pursue an MBA?
I need business skills and a greater understanding of finance and analytics to achieve my goal of transforming the union. Pursuing an MBA will also introduce me to new ways of thinking, broadening my perspective for solving the challenges ahead.
