Coronavirus Updates

The program, which is in its second year and born directly from student feedback, allows incoming students to work with Booth-led startups for 6-7 weeks before they begin school in the fall. Hearing that our students wished they could have better utilized the summer before beginning the MBA, we joined efforts between the Dean’s Office, The Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and Admissions to create this exciting opportunity. What started with six participants in 2016, has grown to 24 new Booth students this year!

The way it works is alumni entrepreneurs can meet and hire incoming Boothies who will contribute to their companies based on their interests and skill sets. Students then get a chance to work and learn on the ground throughout the summer, as well as build up their Booth network in the startup space.

For students who are looking for ways to explore different career paths, learn in a hands-on fast-paced environment, and test their appetite for entrepreneurial risk — Startup Summer is going to do just that.  Hear all about it here.

We look forward to connecting more students with Booth-led startups and growing the program in year three!
