Being at Chicago Booth, it feels very special. Faculty at Booth, they are very well-known all over the world, and yet they are very personable. Students are vibrant and energetic. They are very helpful. Students are very authentic, so each student is unique in his own way. It’s very amazing to find that your classmates have been participating in global deals, deals that are being today studied as a business case. Because we had students participating in the real deal that was being discussed in class, each of them bring their own experiences to the case study. I had very high expectations of Booth and I have not been deceived.
“Having spent 15 years around the world, I learned the differences between education in different continents and in different cultures. I’ve always been very excited by the culture that Chicago was promoting: this open culture, this close relationship with the professors and the community. This is very unique.”

I grew up in Spain in a small family business. I've always been excited about the international trade and commodities. I'm a commodities risk manager for Mondelez International. I'm based in Switzerland. Mondelez International, it's a major chocolate manufacturer with presence everywhere in the world. I'm responsible for buying the cocoa that goes into the production of chocolate.

I've been looking for something to get me excited every day to learn something new. I couldn't think of a more complete program to allow me that. The most challenging for me is to manage the time. Being full time employed, starting full time, and having a family requires very good management of your time. Every time I go back to work after a week at school, I do feel I have a better understanding of the business. Being at this program, it's a continuous learning experience. You learn in class and you learn outside class. Every day I'm studying. Every day I'm learning something new. This keeps me excited.
