Morgan Sze is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Azentus Capital Management. Prior to founding Azentus in 2011, he was the Global Head of Goldman Sachs Principal Strategies (GSPS) and a member of Goldman Sachs’ Firmwide Risk Committee and Asia Securities Division Operating Committee. He has over 25 years of experience in financial markets based in New York, Tokyo, London and Hong Kong, including 17 years at Goldman Sachs. During his time at GSPS, he was responsible for investments in equity long/short, credit, event, convertibles, capital structure arbitrage, volatility and private equity. Early in his career at Goldman Sachs, he co-founded the Risk Markets Group in New York, a leader in building a market for risk securitization, including earthquake and hurricane bonds, and established the European Risk Markets group in London.
Morgan received an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He also received a BA in English Literature and Economics, summa cum laude, from Cornell University. He is a trustee of Phillips Exeter Academy and Chairman of the Investment Committee.
