Mark Agnew, ’06
President and CEO
Mark Agnew, ’06, is the president and chief executive officer of Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Lou Malnati’s 51 pizzerias and nationwide shipping business, Tastes of Chicago.
Fittingly, Agnew’s first job was working at Malnati’s when he was in high school, and he later served as an intern while earning a degree in hospitality from Cornell University. In 2013, he returned to the company as the chief financial officer and was named president and CEO in 2015. Prior to rejoining Malnati’s, he was vice president at Dixon Midland Company, based in Chicago. He also worked as an analyst at Deutsche Bank and an associate at Glencoe Capital.
Additionally, Agnew teaches a 10-week class at Booth, Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition, which has become a highly rated and sought-after course.
He has a BS from Cornell University and an MBA with honors from the University of Chicago. He and his wife, Carolyn, reside in Winnetka with their children, Molly, Ellie, James, and Henry.
