As a participant you will have the opportunity to meet with one of the Executive-in-Residence in a small (4-5 participants) group coaching session. You will be able to indicate the executives you'd like to meet with for the small group coaching session and the times when you can be available to meet with the executives.

Dr. Rajeev Gautam is President and CEO of Honeywell Performance Materials and Technologies (PMT), a global leader in providing advanced materials, process technologies and automation solutions, with sales of $10.3 billion in 2017. 

PMT delivers high-performance products and solutions including low-global-warming-potential refrigerants, automation and software for process industries, and process technologies for the refining, petrochemical and gas processing industries. The business also delivers a portfolio of advanced solutions via Honeywell Connected Plant, which helps the company’s industrial customers turn data into insight that enables plants to run more efficiently and reliably. 

Prior to this role, Rajeev served as President of Honeywell UOP, one of the leading suppliers of process technologies that have formed the foundation for most of the world’s refiners, efficiently producing gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, petrochemicals and renewable fuels. He also served as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of PMT. During the last 30 years he has held key positions within UOP, spanning research and development, engineering, and marketing, including vice president and chief technology officer of UOP. 

Rajeev began his career with Union Carbide in 1978 and became part of UOP through a joint venture in 1988. Throughout his career Rajeev has championed innovative solutions for industry needs and has been responsible for the development and commercialization of a broad range of catalytic and separations applications for the refining, petrochemical and gas processing industries. 

Rajeev earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in chemical engineering from Drexel University. Additionally, he holds a doctorate in chemical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Chicago. 

Mary Josephs is the Founder & CEO of Verit Advisors®, a specialized middle market investment banking firm.   Ms. Josephs is a nationally recognized leader with more than 28 years of experience with ESOPS as a specialized solution-oriented succession and liquidity transaction for middle market companies. She has advised, structured and closed more than 300 advisory projects for middle market companies representing more than $7 billion in senior credit and nearly $30 billion in enterprise value. Ms. Josephs holds a BA from Marquette University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago.

Ms. Josephs is a member of NASD:  Series 24, 7, and 63.   Ms. Josephs is on the board of Spinnaker Coating, LLC, Big Shoulders, a member of the International Women’s Forum, the Economic Club of Chicago, The Chicago Network and an alumnae of Leadership Greater Chicago.

In 2016 and 2017, Ms. Josephs was selected as one of the Most Influential Women in Mid-Market M&A by Mergers & Acquisition publication.  Mary lives in Arlington Heights with her husband of 32 years, Jeff.  Together they have five young adult children.

 

After founding and running an award winning digital agency for 18 years, Jeff now works with start-ups and enterprises as a board member, advisor, and investor. Jeff was a founder of pioneering digital agency Roundarch, which became Isobar US in 2012 after successfully negotiating a nine figure sale to Aegis Media (now Dentsu).

In the course of his tenure, Isobar became digital consultants to top companies such as Bloomberg, HBO, Enterprise Holdings and the US Air Force helping them complete multi-year digital transformations across strategy, design, and technology.  Isobar was also recognized by Gartner, Forrester, FAST Company, Wired and others as a top digital agency and innovator.

Prior to Roundarch, Jeff worked in Deloitte and Accenture. Jeff received a BA and MA in history from Tufts University in 1990.  He received an MBA from Booth in 1995.  He is married to Rebecca Johnston (Booth ’95) and they live in Chicago with their three boys.

G. Mustafa Mohatarem, Ph.D., was named chief economist of General Motors Corporation on March 1, 1995.

GM’s Economics Team is responsible for assessing the impact of worldwide economic developments on the company. The Team’s primary responsibility is to forecast economic growth and vehicle sales in countries around the world. In addition, the Economics Team provides advice to the company on various competitive and economic policy issues. Mohatarem serves on the Corporate Risk Management Committee.

Mohatarem is an expert on trade issues and heads the company’s Trade Team. He interacts regularly with officials from the United States and other countries on trade related issues. He was the lead contact for GM with the United States and other governments during Uruguay Round General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) negotiations, as well as the U.S.-Canada Free Trade Agreement, and North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

Mohatarem joined General Motors in 1982 as an economist on the Economics Staff in Detroit. In 1985, he became senior staff assistant on the Industry-Government Relations Staff. The following year he returned to the Economics Staff as senior staff economist specializing in competitive-analysis issues. He was promoted to Director of Trade and Competitive Analysis in 1987, and General Director of Economic Analysis in 1990.

Mohatarem was born on October 15, 1953, in Quetta, Pakistan. He received an undergraduate degree in economics and mathematics from Denison University, Granville, Ohio, in 1976. He earned both master-of-business-administration and doctorate degrees in economics from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business in 1979 and 1982, respectively.

Mohatarem has also served as visiting assistant professor at the University of Notre Dame. While at GM, he has taught courses as an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Michigan and the University of Detroit.

Jon Morris is the founder and CEO of Rise Interactive. Morris has been personally recognized as a leader in technology and innovation on the Techweek100 list the Crain’s Chicago Tech 50 list. 

As a leader in the digital marketing community, Morris has mentored several entrepreneurs, with a significant focus on the University of Chicago’s New Venture Challenge, a renowned business plan competition where Rise itself got its start. Morris also regularly shares his expertise as a guest speaker. He has presented on main stages and at workshops and webinars for organizations such as Search Marketing Expo, Search Engine Strategies, American Marketing Association, The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, Forrester Research, Online Marketing Summit, iStrategy, and Vistage. 

Morris earned an MBA with high honors, graduating first in his class from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a bachelor's degree from Kenyon College.
