Chicago Booth student groups host conferences, speaker series, mock interviews, lectures, panel discussions, and many other activities that focus on career interests and professional development. Working with these student groups can be a valuable resource to enhance your campus visibility and recruiting efforts. Among the ways your company can get involved is to provide speakers or sponsorship. Student Group Conferences
The Chicago Booth Real Estate Conference brings together students, alumni, and industry experts to explore current real estate market conditions. The event, organized by alumni, features panels and speakers addressing timely topics and issues facing the real estate industry.
Real Estate Lab: Real Estate Challenge
Selected students from Chicago Booth compete in the Zell | Booth-Kellogg Real Estate Challenge. Historically, the Challenge topic has been a redevelopment proposal. Each team utilizes the spring quarter to hone their proposal and their presentation. Resources for these activities include interested faculty members, as well as local practitioners familiar with various aspects (design, construction, leasing, financing, etc.) of the proposed project. The proposals are ultimately evaluated by a panel of external judges – one of whom is typically a City representative.
Attend or Participate in an Event
Chicago Conversations - Chicago Conversations are events around the world with rich dialogue among industry leaders thriving in a particular city. Booth corporate partners and the community are invited to hear about industry trends and network with Booth talent. Our most recent Chicago Conversation addressing real estate took place in Hong Kong in September 2012.
Participate in an Event - Every year, Chicago Booth hosts dozens of events meant to provide educational, social and networking opportunities for Chicago Booth students and alumni. If you are interested in representing your company at one of these events as a speaker, panelist, or host of an event at your office, please email us.
