Tanya Menon

Tanya Menon is an associate professor at the Ohio State University's Fisher School of Business. Her research on decision making, influence, culture, teams, and networks has been cited in various media outlets including the Wall Street Journal, Boston Globe, and the Financial Times. She has won multiple teaching awards at both the Ohio State University’s Fisher School of Business and at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Menon earned a bachelor's degree in sociology from Harvard University in 1995 and her Ph.D. from Stanford Graduate School of Business. She is currently Associate Editor at Management Science Journal. Her book with Dr. Leigh Thompson, Stop Spending, Start Managing: Strategies to Transform Wasteful Habits, has just been published (2016, Harvard Business Review Press). She has consulted for and spoken at companies around the world, and her TedxOhioStateUniversity talk was recently featured on Ideas.ted.com
