Shoma Chatterjee Hayden advises public and private company CEOs and boards on talent and leadership issues. Currently, she heads the Leadership Development Practice at ghSMART & Company, a firm that brings data-driven approaches to human capital decisions. Her research focuses on the psychology of trading and investing, producer-manager-leader challenges in professional service firms, and the role of gender in the C-suite.
Prior to ghSMART, she headed the senior leadership development function at Goldman Sachs (Pine Street), where she coached the firm’s partners and managing directors and architected leadership acceleration initiatives for high potential leaders. Previously, Hayden held roles at Deloitte Consulting, the Federal Reserve Bank, and the United Nations.
Hayden earned a BA from Northwestern University in economics and math, an MBA from Columbia Business School, and an MA in International Affairs from Columbia University. She has also been selected to be a member of Marshall Goldsmith’s 100 Coaches® group.
