Women’s Leadership Lab
Rima Imburgia is cofounder of Women's Leadership Lab, a training organization committed to the empowerment of female leaders in the global marketplace. She is an experienced leader-facilitator, collaborative leadership consultant, and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in private practice.
Imburgia is bicultural, was raised in an international, multicultural context, and has traveled extensively. Her experiences inform a lifelong passion and focus on diversity and power equity across dominant and non-dominant identities. She draws on 20 years of corporate business experience to inform her work. This includes working with McDonald's Corporation on both the client and agency sides and work as a consultant for Brandtrust using emotional inquiry methodology that was designed to capture the underlying emotions that direct consumer behaviors. She has worked with Fortune 500 companies such as: Eli Lilly, Quaker, Discover Card, Interstim, Duac, Amgen, BEHR, Allstate Insurance, Miller Lite, Frito Lay, Kraft, Coca-Cola, and Starbucks.
Since 2001, Imburgia has been successfully designing, developing, and leading programs that build leadership competencies for a multi-cultural world. Her training in women’s leadership includes 12 years of ongoing action science research in a non-hierarchical, all-female, power equity group.
Imburgia has a master's of arts degree in clinical psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a bachelor's of science degree in business, marketing.
