Geri Richmond, born in Chicago, is a trusted executive/team coach, practiced organization development consultant, and an expert in leadership/team development, talent, and change management. Currently, she runs the LEAD course for the Chicago Booth Executive MBA Program across London, Hong Kong, and Chicago. In addition, she provides one-on-one leadership coaching, assessments, and programming for Executive, Evening, and Weekend MBA Program students. Richmond is focused on professional and organizational transformation and growth.
Prior to joining Booth in 2016, Richmond held corporate leadership roles in organization learning and development and change management with Kraft, Baxter, RR Donnelley, Monsanto, and the US Department of Agriculture. She coached high-potential leaders, developed top priority teams, implemented leadership programs, and managed change for enterprise-wide culture and process initiatives.
Richmond earned a BS in Food and Nutrition, an MS from American University in OD/HRD, and completed post-grad work at The Family Institute, Northwestern University. Richmond is an iPEC (Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching) certified executive coach and holds many other certifications. Richmond founded her own consulting practice, Sunrise Associates, in 2000. She continues to provide external coaching and consulting upon request. She relishes learning, exploring, art, culture, Club33, Santa Fe, four beautiful granddaughters, and the love of her life Jak.
