This past summer, one of those rare opportunities arose for a group of students who wanted to better understand what it means to start, manage, and grow a business in Southeast Asia.
“This was very much an experiment… to take a team of students halfway around the globe to explore an emerging market first-hand,” explains professor Jean-Pierre Dubé, who seized the chance to lead the trip that would usher 13 Booth students onto plantations, into factories, through boardroom doors, and in front of heads of state for a learning experience of a lifetime.
