Did you know that we recently we expanded our study and classroom space into the NBC Tower across the street from Gleacher Center?
The new space is a result of "the programs expanding to the point that we have now outgrown Gleacher," Sunil Kumar, dean, said in a statement, as well as a response to student demand for more ample study and lounge space. The new space is 16,000 square feet and on the ground level of 455 N. Cityfront Plaza Drive- across the street from Gleacher Center.
The space houses two classrooms, 16 study rooms and plenty of lounge space. Currently Advanced Negotiations with George Wu is being instructed in Booth 455, with plans for lab courses to take place there as well.
Space is available to all Chicago Booth students.
The Booth 455 expansion comes on the heels as the Programs transition from Singapore to the new Hong Kong campus. The Hong Kong government recently granted Booth conditional approval for the Ex-Victoria Road Detention Centre site on Mount Davis, the westernmost hill on Hong Kong Island. Hong Kong will be the home of Chicago Booth's Asia Executive MBA Program beginning June 2014.
