Steven Xi is the Founder and Managing Partner of Eastlink Capital. He is also an adviser and was formerly a Regional Director and Managing Director (China) at Riverwood Capital, a tech focused global growth capital PE firm with over $2Billion assets under management. Based at Riverwood's Menlo Park office, he focused on Internet, software/IT services and digital media investments related to China. Prior to joining Riverwood in 2007, Mr. Xi was a Managing Director at The Hina Group Fund I, where he focused on expansion-stage investments in the technology and digital media space.

Shruti started working with Machine Learning algorithms while working on her master's thesis in computer science from Columbia University on understanding user behavior on instant messaging platforms. While at IBM she worked on self learning algorithms that detected user location based on IP addresses, which she later incorporated into the Lotus Sametime product. Previously, Shruti was an early stage venture capital investor at True Ventures, Samsung Electronics, Lightbank, HighBAR Partners, and the i2A Fund.

Nancy Hayes is the Membership Chair of the Golden Seeds Silicon Valley chapter. In this role, she is seeking to grow the number of local members and engage them in our work. Nancy was a senior executive at the IBM Corporation and then became CEO of a nonprofit organization serving seriously ill children and later of one focused on frail elderly. Next she was dean of the college of business at a large state university and was subsequently CFO of that university. Later she cofounded a rewards-based crowdfunding site for women with small businesses. She has an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago.

Martin is a partner responsible for developing the intellectual capital of Wing, a venture-capital fund that backs category-defining startups in business-technology markets. He is also a senior industry fellow at University of California, Irvine's Center for Digital Transformation and member of the World Economic Forum's Council on the Future of Electronics. Previously, Martin was a Tech correspondent for The Economist here in San Francisco.
