Pedro Goenaga (Speaker)
General Manager, Russell Reynolds

Pedro Goenaga is the firm’s Country Manager for Spain, which includes the Madrid and Barcelona offices. He conducts senior executive and board searches as well as executive assessment projects for product- and service-oriented companies in the consumer and industrial sectors. Due to his previous experience, he is also specialized in the Private Equity Practice. Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates in 1998, Mr. Goenaga served as General Manager and Member of the Board of Gespalets, S.A. (GKN-Chep Group) for three years. Previously, he was Investment Director at Axis, Participaciones Empresariales, S.A. (BBVA) for six years and was a board member of 18 companies in the distribution, food, packaging and telecommunications industries. Before that, Mr. Goenaga worked as an executive consultant at Arthur D. Little, mainly in the communications, leisure and tourism sectors. Mr. Goenaga received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Deusto and his M.B.A. from IESE, which included a semester at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Goenaga is fluent in Spanish, English and French.
