With an estimated quarter of humanity regularly using social media and a continuing trend powered by smart phones towards a Mobile-First World, opportunities abound for interactive customer relationships among significant marketplace diversity. But perhaps even more in this context than others drawing entrepreneurial attention, the greatest rewards likely go to the agile and prepared.


Our speaker, an online marketing expert, will offer her guidance on the ins and outs of capitalizing on today's social media environment, harnessing it to your sales cycle for business growth. Insights on strategy from content to website design, on using blogging and e-mail to augment social brands, on the suitability and use of platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, and on understanding Google Local and related analytics, can be among the highlights of this latest quick excursion around the Web.

From launching a non-profit website serving travelers with disabilities to corporate roles guiding integrated marketing at Walgreens, Allstate, and Waste Management, Catherine applies more than a decade of experience implementing proven digital solutions beyond the latest fads for attracting new customers and retaining current ones. Her orientation as a small business advisor is to focus on essentials to maximize the benefits of deliverables and to coach clients on how to effectively manage their social media channels and marketing programs themselves. She is also an Ironman Triathlete. A certified project management professional, Catherine earned her BA in Communications at Northern Illinois U, and her M.S. in Integrated Marketing Communications at Roosevelt U.
