The Alumni Association in partnership with the UChicago Alumni Club of Boston invite you to attend our annual flagship Career Month event. This year, we will be gathering at the Omni Parker House in downtown Boston on November 13. Registration will open at 6:30pm, and the program will begin at 7.
Statistics show that close to 80% of all jobs are found through some form of networking, but networking is not a natural activity for the majority of people and many do not even know where to begin. We are going to approach this challenge the UChicago way - by discussing some of the academic research on human networks and how to navigate them. Then we'll move into some structured networking activities to allow you to put your new knowledge into practice right away. Of course, the whole event will be book-ended by time for cocktails and conversation with your fellow alums.
