The Executive Committee has organized a Networking Drinks / Indoor Golf Night together with our General Members Meeting (Extraordinary General Meeting).
Event Details
The purpose of the EGM concerns the amendment of the name of the club from, "University of Chicago Alumni Club" to "The University of Chicago Booth School of Business Alumni Club of Singapore."
The club has been asked by both Alumni Relations offices at the University of Chicago and Chicago Booth for the name change as it supports the global alumni strategy of both institutions. This will allow the University of Chicago to set up another alumni club using our current name 'University of Chicago Alumni Club'. We have been asked to change our name to include Booth due to our closer affiliation to the business school and the higher proportion of Booth (formerly GSB) members, which is currently 93% of our membership. There will not be any other changes to the operating activities and/or constitution of our club.
We will be having a short EGM followed by an evening of drinks, networking and the golf simulator, with special contests promised like closest to the hole and furthest drive on the two indoor golf simulators which we have exclusively for the evening till 10pm.
The EVENT is FREE to both registered Club Members and Alumni.

If you are not yet a club member, a one year membership is only $60 and a lifetime membership is only $120. You can become a member online or at the event.
