Event Details

The September meeting will focus on Participative Management. We will explore the topic by through a facilitated discussion of the article “My Unfashionable Legacy” by Ralph Sink from the strategy+business online journal. (The article is available at no cost from www.strategy-business.com, but registration is required.) Team-based management enjoyed wide popularity through the 80’s and 90’s, but some suggest it is now passing into obscurity. Is that really the case, or has the approach become so thoroughly integrated into our management practices that it has become second nature? To what degree has it been successful? To what degree has it fallen short? What are the key practices that differentiate success from failure? Please Note: These meetings will NOT present a featured speaker. Rather, the substance of the meeting will be facilitated discussion among those attending. PLEASE BE SURE TO READ THE DESIGNATED ARTICLE AHEAD OF TIME AND COME PREPARED TO JOIN THE DISCUSSION. Your participation is key to the success of this event!
