Dennis Chookaszian (Speaker) '68
Chairman; Director

Dennis serves as Chairman of the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council, which advises the Financial Accounting Standards Board. Mr. Chookaszian is also currently a director of Chicago Mercantile Exchange Holdings Inc., a U.S. financial exchange. Dennis serves on a number of other boards, including Career Education Corporation, Allscripts-Misys Healthcare Solutions, Inc., Insweb Corporation, and LoopNet, Inc. He was formerly the Chairman and CEO of CNA Financial Corporation, where he had a 27 year career. Mr. Chookaszian has a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Northwestern University, a Master of Business Administration in finance from the University of Chicago and a masters degree in economics from the London School of Economics. Karen Morris (Speaker)

Karen is the founding partner of Morris and Morris LLC Counselors at Law in Wilmington, DE. The firm principally practices in representative litigation including antitrust, consumer and derivative actions. The firm has reached settlements with major U.S. corporations across diverse industry sectors, encompassing comprehensive governance and compliance reforms at the board and management levels. Ms. Morris is a member of the Delaware and New York Bars and appears before federal and state courts throughout the country. She is a graduate of Yale College B.A., M.A. 1980 and the Duke University School of Law, 1983. Ms. Morris clerked for the Chief Justice of the Delaware Supreme Court. She is Co-Chair of the ABA Corporate Governance Subcommittee on Investigations and Litigation.
