EMBA Global Career & Leadership Development (GCLD) introduces the "Preparing for a Promotion" workshop. This is part of the ongoing 'Career Clinics' series, and this 1-hour session explores how and what to prepare as you position yourself for internal advancement. From discussions with your supervisor and network, to a gap analysis of where you are now and where you want to be, there's a great deal to consider when pursuing a promotion. Learn about all of this and more in this session.

The "Preparing for a Promotion" workshop is scheduled for:

  • Tuesday, November 15, 7:00AM – 8:00AM Chicago
  • Tuesday, November 15, 1:00PM – 2:00PM London
  • Tuesday, November 15, 9:00PM – 10:00PM Hong Kong

Registration is required for the Career Clinics workshops. This Zoom session will be facilitated by Maureen Dowdle and Kelly O'Brien of the GCLD team.

Maureen is a Senior Associate Director for the Global Career & Leadership Development team at Chicago Booth and is responsible for providing coaching services to the Executive MBA students. Maureen joined Chicago Booth in 2017 after spending 6 years in university recruiting for two Fortune 100 companies and receiving her MBA in Human Resources.

Maureen approaches coaching from the point of view that change comes through challenging yourself; but by taking ownership of your experience and utilizing the resources around you, it is possible to develop exciting options for yourself.
