The pandemic provoked a crisis but also created opportunities in many industries, including FinTech. New realities have become an incentive for FinTech development. Technologies have enabled mobile and cross-border payments, embedded financing, financial software development, and super-apps. Investment in FinTech grew significantly in many regions of the world and its scope broadening well beyond its early definition.
