This all-ages event is a great chance to catch up with fellow alumni in a relaxed setting (beautiful Minnehaha Park).
Event Details
Please join us for our 3rd annual potluck barbecue. The club will provide hot dogs, hamburgers, buns, condiments, cold bottled water, and a charcoal barbecue grill. Please bring your own beverages, plus a side dish or dessert to share. If you have any special dietary needs (such as food allergies, gluten intolerance, or kosher restriction), please bring your own food. We'll have yard games as well. No glass containers, please; the only alcohol allowed is 3.2% beer in cans. (Note that the site also includes a wading pool and playground for kids, as well as restrooms.) We've reserved a covered picnic pavilion (Wabun G), so this event is rain or shine.
Parking: keep going on 46th Avenue until you come to the Minnesota Veterans' Home--park in the vets' home parking lot (this is allowed on weekends). After parking, backtrack to Wabun picnic area G--between two small parking lots (which are likely to be full).
