Can Cryptocurrency save struggling economies suffering from corruption? What type of cryptocurrencies are worth investing in? How is Blockchain being used as a game changer in the tech startup landscape? Why has Andreessen Horowitz recently changed to a registered investment advisor because of Cryptocurrency?

Join an accomplished group of professionals to have a candid discussion about this and more with real world use cases. 

Lynn Liss wants the musician and entrepreneur Akon to use his cryptocurrency "Akoin" to fuel a new ecosystem in Africa. Cory Klippsten is investing in the cryptocurrency space and advising a company using Blockchain to create virtual objects for dynamic retail and user experiences.

"Coach" Weinhaus, a cryptocurrency professor at UCLA and Booth, will moderate this fascinating panel of experts; where you will learn the practical applications of the burgeoning cryptocurrency market and the Blockchain technology.

Hosted by The Movember Foundation in Culver City- 

The Movember Foundation is the leading charity changing the face of men's health. We're addressing some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention. We're independent of government funding, so we can challenge the status quo and invest quicker in what works. In 15 years we've funded more than 1,200 men's health projects around the world. By 2030 we'll reduce the number of men dying prematurely by 25%.

Edward Weinhaus (Coach) (Speaker)

"Coach" specializes in Cryptocurrency-related opportunities, earning advanced degrees in the subject (pursuing doctoral research in Cryptocurrency and Liberty). Additionally, he coaches businesses from seed stage to growth stage for his portfolio and top entrepreneurship programs. Coach serves as a faculty lecturer at UCLA Anderson School of Management. He was named an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at Booth in 2017 (Adjunct). He has also served as a lecturer at Washington University's Olin Business School and Pepperdine's Graziadio School of Business and Management.

Coach also currently serves as Chairman of The Coin Group, a bitcoin and Blockchain investment umbrella proprietorship with interests in Media, Financial Services, and Retail-operating companies based out of Los Angeles. Coach advises financial institutions on bitcoin and Blockchain related topics through his consultancy. Coach formerly worked for the Boston Consulting Group, American Electric Power, Private Equity, Derivatives Trading, and was founder of Oak Willow Builders. Coach holds an MBA from Booth - University of Chicago, and a B.Sc. London School of Economics.

An entrepreneur with 10 years in the social impact sector and 10 years as an executive management consultant; Lynn is a leader in advising, building, executing and operating innovative business models. She brings extensive experience to each of her ventures as a Management Consultant with BearingPoint and CGI-AMS (Top 5), where she provided executive advisement and deployed leading technology with Fortune 500s including negotiating a $20M+ deal signed by the COO of Microsoft. An MBA in Strategy/Finance from the University of Chicago, Lynn has deep networks and experience across the startup, social capital, entertainment, technology, and social impact sectors.
