About Angeleno Wine Company:

Commercial winemaking began in downtown Los Angeles in 1833, long before the rise of Napa & Sonoma as premiere viticulture regions, The city quickly became the epicenter of the industry, supplying wine not just to California but to the nation. As Los Angeles historian Thomas Pinney put it, "the most striking fact about the history of winemaking in Los Angeles, city and county, is the completeness with which is has been forgotten." With it's launch in 2018, Angelino Wine Company became the city's first urban winery to open since prohibition and one of only two wineries within the city of Los Angeles.  Please join us for an afternoon of wine tasting with the founders of Angelino Wine Company, Amy Luftig Viste and Jasper Dickenson, whose passion is bringing winemaking from local vineyards back to the city.
