As a special advisor on migration for the United Nations, Claudia Romo Edelman is interested in discussing how the sustainable development goals are not only the good thing to do but also the smart thing to do for business.

Claudia launched a podcast with CBS in DAVOS (global GoalsCast), which is one of the many new platforms that will replace traditional media that will earn the trust of the people.

Claudia Romo Edelman is a Special Advisor for UNICEF, and recently has been seconded to the Executive Office for International Migration. Previously, Claudia served as UNICEF's Global Chief of Public Advocacy. She was seconded to the Executive Office of the Secretary General of the United Nations leading communications and advocacy for the Sustainable Development Goals and Climate Change for the Special Advisor on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. She has successfully led PR, branding, and marketing for some of the biggest global organizations such as the World Economic Forum, the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR), and the Global Fund to fight AIDS, TB & Malaria. Claudia started her career as a journalist and press correspondent for Latin American media companies such as Notimex, Proceso, Infored Monitor. She holds degrees in Communications, Philosophy, and Photography as well as a Masters in Political Communications from the London School of Economics. Claudia is a frequent public speaker and speaks six languages.
