4 Monday evening sessions, each including a light dinner and networking.
Course also includes a copy of recently published "Yes! 50 Scientifically Proven Ways to Be Persuasive" by Noah Goldstein, Steve J. Martin, and Robert Cialdini.
Facilitator, moderator, program leader is Gary Pines.
Attendance is strictly limited to 25 people to ensure that all participants have ample opportunities for meaningful interaction at each session.
This course is designed for participants who are serious about getting results by learning, practicing, and implementing alternative tools for persuasion.
Session 1 - Monday, October 6
A diverse panel of executives provides perspective on what it means to be an effective persuader. Group discussion will then focus on what works and what doesn't.
Session 2 - Monday October 20
In small facilitated working groups, participants will:
* Share problems/issues in which they seek to improve their persuasive skills
* Offer techniques and collaborate on a strategy to address the problem
* Practice persuasion techniques and get group feedback
Session 3 - Monday, November 3
Participants report back on results of their efforts and work to improve:
* What worked? What didn't?
* What did we learn?
* How can we do better?
Session 4 - Monday, November 17
Where do we go from here?
* Includes comments/perspectives from panel of executives
* Summarize and assess results from previous sessions
* Evaluating the bigger picture - Integrity, Leadership, and Strategies for Long-term success
