The US Economy and the Presidential Election – An All-Roundtable Event

Our All-Roundtable event features multiple presentations and discussions from experts in many fields of inquiry, all designed to shed light on the US economy and our political future. We’ll examine the emerging business and political environment from the viewpoint of Wall Street and of Main Street. Each Roundtable will present a selected topic, each designed to answer the compelling questions of our time. We’ll explore today’s business environment with focus on new and disruptive technologies, emerging product and services strategies, brand building and approaches to pricing. We’ll also plunge into the heated political arena to examine the new roles being played by lobbyists and campaign advisors in this election cycle, the energy, science and trade policies that could emerge in the new Administration, the selling and spinning of the candidates and how this is shaping our perceptions of the economy. You’ll benefit from: * Sharing ideas and learning from experts in multiple fields of interest * Networking with fellow Roundtable participants from other professions and lines of business * Perhaps finding a Roundtable group that you wish to join on a regular basis * A sense of coming together as a single alumni community through an event that we all share. There are 10 GSB Alumni Roundtables participating in this event: Finance Roundtable, International Roundtable, Consulting Roundtable, CEO Roundtable, Entrepreneur Roundtable, London Roundtable, Business Book Roundtable, Innovation Roundtable, Sales Leadership Roundtable, and Marketing Roundtable. A networking reception hosted by the Chicago GSB Club tops off the evening.

Driving Directions:300 East Illinois Street (AMC Theater-River East Self Park Garage) $6.00 after 3:00pm on weekdays and all day Saturday and Sunday for a 12-hour period Garage: Self Park Facility Payment: Automated; at pay-stations by cash or credit card or upon exit pay by credit card only. To receive discounted rate: There is a card validator at the first floor security desk of the Gleacher Center. The new system for the AMC Theater- River East Self Park Garage is automated. You will only need to insert your parking card in the validator and the new price will be automatically applied. You can validate your parking ticket at any time between your arrival at and departure from the Gleacher Center. When you leave the lot you will be charged for the lower $6.00 fee. Parking: The Chicago GSB has arranged self-parking with the AMC Theater-River East garage. The discount will be available weekday evenings and on weekends for our alumni while attending GSB events at the Gleacher Center.
