Hear the exciting exploits of Russ Miller since he retired from Zenith in 1990. Russ has traveled all over the world, helped turn around companies in remote regions of the former Soviet Union, and written four books. His first novel, “The Spy with a Clean Face” was released in January. Miller started writing after retirement. His first book, built on his career in international marketing at Zenith, showed American companies how to market in emerging markets. That was followed by another business book, on privatization, and a travelogue. Two years ago, he turned to fiction and penned an exciting tale of intrigue set in the Ukraine, China and Venezuela, In the early 1990’s, Miller began working with American consulting companies that were helping company in Eastern Europe adapt their businesses to market economies. His work took him to small towns such as the hamlet in the Ukraine where he turned a former defense installation into a private company. Mr. Miller, who lives in LaGrange, was recently featured in the Wall Street Journal’s profiles of former executives who have pursued exotic second careers in retirement
