Join the Chicago Economics Society and a few of UChicago's best alumni macroeconomic investors on Wall Street for an evening of investment philosophy, top ideas, and stimulating debate. The panel will be uniquely UChicago. Not only will you learn where the panelists see opportunities in today's market, but you will also learn their investment philosophies. The distinguished alumni panel will be moderated by Rebecca Jarvis, chief business and economics correspondent for ABC News (B.A. 2003). The panelists are:

• Dr. Todd Petzel (AB, MA, PhD), Chief Investment Officer of Offit Capital. Prior to joining Offit Capital, Mr. Petzel was Chief Economist at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange among other positions. Mr. Petzel began his career as an economics professor at Macalester College and Stanford University and later served as a lecturer in finance at the University of Chicago from 1989 to 1996. He has written extensively on finance and markets as editor-in-chief of Derivatives Quarterly (1994-2001) and as author of Financial Futures and Options: A Guide to Markets, Applications, and Strategies (1989).

• John Scurci (MBA '80), Portfolio Manager and Chief Investment Officer for Corona Associates Capital Management, LLC. John Scurci has had a 40-year investment career with Morgan Stanley and Lazard, and as an independent investor. In 1999 Mr. Scurci managed a U.S. technology-focused fund for London-based Park Place Capital, Ltd., which returned approximately 2,080% over 1 year. According to the CSFB/Tremont Hedge Fund Return Index, its performance remains unsurpassed. Dennis Stattman, CFA, is also a member of the BlackRock PMG Executive Committee, Leadership Committee, and Central Strategy Group. Mr. Stattman's service with the firm dates back to 1989, with Merrill Lynch. He has been a manager of the BlackRock Global Allocation Fund since its inception.
