Jon Madorsky (Panelist) '04
Managing Principal, RCP Advisors

Jon Madorsky is a Managing Principal of RCP, a middle market private equity fund-of-funds. He is responsible for the identification and analysis of potential investments, as well as monitoring of the Firm’s current portfolio. In addition, Jon is a member of the Investment Committee and active as an Advisory Board member of various underlying funds. Jon has been involved in the private equity industry for over 10 years. He has been with the Firm since the formation of RCP Fund II. Prior to joining RCP, Jon worked for two middle market buyout funds. Jon also worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Strategic Business Unit. Jon received a BA in History from Emory University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. Jon sits on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago and is a Toigo Mentor.

Kenneth A. Tyszko, CPA, CFA (Panelist)
Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager, RBC Global Asset Management

Ken Tyszko provides fundamental research and portfolio management for small, SMID, and mid cap growth strategies. He joined RBC GAM-US in 2001. Ken previously served as a portfolio manager for Oberweis Asset Management, ABN AMRO Asset Management (USA) Inc., ABN AMRO Incorporated and Sears Investment Management Company. His background also includes experience at Main Hurdman, an international accounting and consulting firm. Ken earned a BS in accountancy from the University of Illinois. He is a CFA charterholder. Ken is a member of the CFA Society of Chicago, the CFA Institute and the Illinois CPA Society. He has been a guest on Bloomberg Television, Bloomberg Radio, CNBC and WebFN.

Peter Yi, CFA (Panelist) '07
Senior Vice President, Northern Trust Asset Management (NTAM),

Peter is the Director of Short Duration Fixed Income. In this capacity, Peter manages the teams responsible for Northern Trust's registered money market mutual funds, short term investment funds, ultra short fixed income funds, separately managed institutional client mandates and securities lending cash reinvestment. His daily responsibilities are to develop and oversee strategies for the short duration fixed income business. Peter is also a senior portfolio manager for the money market funds within the Northern Institutional Funds and Northern Funds families. Peter is a member of the Northern Trust Fixed Income Product Council, Northern Trust Interest Rate Strategy Committee, Northern Trust Investment Policy Committee, Asset Management Credit Risk Management Committee, Collateralized Products Risk Committee and the Securities Lending Governance Committee. He also serves on the Money Market Advisory Committee for the Investment Company Institute and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences. Peter received a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and Investment Analysts Society of Chicago.

Erik Barefield (Panelist)
Senior Managing Director, Mesirow Financial

Erik Barefield is a senior managing director and head of North American Business Development for Mesirow Advanced Strategies, Inc. He is responsible for the development and marketing of the firm’s fund of hedge fund products and services primarily to domestic institutional investors. Prior to joining Mesirow Advanced Strategies, Inc. in 2005, Mr. Barefield spent over 11 years as an institutional salesperson in the Fixed Income Group at Morgan Stanley, and focused predominately on structured products and asset and mortgage backed bonds. He received a B.S. in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an M.B.A from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
