Though currently the Frequent Diner Manager for Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants, Michael Lynch has worked in the food and entertainment industry for nearly 3 decades for such companies as Walt Disney World, Stouffer’s, and General Mills. He also worked for HFS hotels, Trusthouse Forte, Holiday Inn, Sara Hotels in Stockholm, and Embassy Suites. In addition, he spent nearly 15 years working for Harrah’s, on the Isle of Capri, and Trump Casinos, where he helped create the Total Rewards Card (Harrah's) and the Isle One Card (Isle of Capri). Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants, a privately-owned restaurant company with over 60 restaurants under 30 brand names, was founded in 1972 and boasts some of the highest revenue independently-owned restaurants in the US. With the restaurant industry experiencing record growth, Michael has agreed to share with attendees some of the critical knowledge and insights he has gained in such areas as budgeting for capital improvements and expansion, developing programs for customer acquisition and retention, and making correct and, of course, profitable human resource decisions.
