The Success Brain: How to Get It, Build It, and Leverage will be facilitated by Anita Brick, Booth alum and Director of Career Advancement Programs at Chicago Booth. There will be a post program webinar to help you solidify your progress and ask questions. During the time between the in-person workshop and the teleconference, you will be documenting a few things that will be defined at the workshop, such as success filing, resizing the steps you're committed to – either by making them smaller, if you are not completing them, or by making them larger, if you complete your steps faster than expected, and thanking others for the help they give you – even for tiny and incomplete things.

Anita Brick (Speaker)
Director of Career Advancement Programs at Chicago Booth
In a career of more than two decades that has spanned corporate, entrepreneurial, and academic sectors, Brick has demonstrated accomplishments in consulting, executive coaching, public speaking, writing, and video production to audiences worldwide.
She currently serves as Director of Career Advancement Programs at Chicago Booth and is the founder of The Encouragement Institute, Inc., located in Chicago. Previously, she served as product manager at a global bank, vice president of marketing for a start-up financial network, equity stakeholder in an organizational development and career management firm, and creative communications director of a motivation and media development firm.
Brick has written, lectured, and been quoted about career management, executive development, and motivational issues to global audiences including the Wall Street Journal, Business Week, Chicago Tribune, the Economist, BP, and the Federal Reserve Bank. She has served as a contributor to The Wall Street Journal's National Business Employment Weekly, The World Tribune, The Resourceful Woman, WBBU Radio, and No Matter What TV. Brick holds a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Chicago and Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She is currently conducting search as a doctoral student in executive education at Northern Illinois University on how adults use life's obstacles to accelerate their progress rather than be derailed by them. Brick presented her initial research findings at an international conference of adult and executive educators at Michigan State University.
Brick recently edited a compilation of wisdom and insights from 69 professionals in a book titled: What I Wish I Had Known Earlier in My Career.
