Event Details

Investing in California assets is tough. But it's nothing compared to convincing clients to hold their positions and bear with the challenges facing the state and its many struggling municipalities. The good news is that there are still tremendous investment opportunities for those ready to look deeper.

This new, full-day conference, offered by CFA Societies California and CFA Institute, will provide an economic overview and investment outlook for the state of California ahead of the 2012 election, including a detailed examination of where and how top practitioners are yielding positive results. We will focus on the issues affecting the entire California investment community, from pension plans and asset managers to municipal bond investors, venture capital, and the private-wealth community.

A pre-conference cocktail reception will be held the evening of 18 September and is included in the registration fee.
