The Booth Global Launchpad supports the ongoing education of entrepreneurial alumni worldwide through engaging four-day seminars taught by top Chicago Booth entrepreneurship faculty. The Global Launchpad's first stop will be in Beijing in July 2012.

Event Details

The Global Launchpad is a four-day "boot-camp" seminar designed to provide entrepreneurial alumni with the tools and experiential learning needed to start new ventures or grow existing businesses. Alumni will gain a solid understanding of the core tenets of entrepreneurship as well as access to a mentor network that will offer meaningful, long-term assistance.

The Global Launchpad's unique curriculum blends classroom instruction grounded in theoretical frameworks with hands-on coaching by successful entrepreneurs and industry experts. Participants gain both high-touch involvement with Chicago Booth faculty and access to a dynamic network of local mentors. Applications to the Global Launchpad: Beijing are currently being accepted. Check back for dates and deadlines for other Global Launchpads.

Applicants to the Global Launchpad: Beijing are encouraged to apply by the program's early application deadline: Friday, May 18, 2012. The selection committee will review all applications received by this date and make an initial round of admission decisions. Applicants admitted during the early application phase will be notified by May 28, 2012.

The final deadline to apply to the Global Launchpad: Beijing is Friday, June 1, 2012. Admission notifications will be sent to all applicants by June 11, 2012.
