Join us in the hip Westside Arts District for a private photography showing and wine tasting at Jennifer Schwartz Gallery.

The gallery is a fine art photography gallery promoting talented, original and emerging photographers as well as established contemporary photographers. Through regular rotating exhibitions, educational artist talks and the representation of gifted and unique up-and-coming photographers, the gallery aims to enhance awareness of the rich variety of photographic talent.

Driving Directions:

From Buckhead or North Atlanta, go South on Peachtree Rd aka US-19 to left (West) on 14th Street for 1 mile, then left on Northside Dr aka US-41 (South) for .7 miles, then sharp right onto Marietta Street for .3 miles.

From Marietta, go South on I-75 to exit 252, right onto Howell Mill Rd for 2 miles. Howell Mill intersects Marietta St at venue.

Event Details

Alumni, parents and friends will be able to view selected works from Watershed, a series by photographer JeffRich. Precious Things, an exhibition featuring the work of four photographers (Heidi Kirkpatrick, Jefferson Hayman, Lori Vrba and Lisette deBoisblanc) will showcase their small, intimate objects. We'll learn about the exhibits while tasting some wine and enjoying light appetizers. Per person cost $10.

Jennifer Schwartz is originally from Richmond, Virginia, and has her BA from Colgate University and her MA from Georgia State University. The owner of a successful commercial photography business for ten years, she opened her gallery in 2009 to give Atlanta's thriving photography community a venue to showcase the work of emerging photographers.

Jennifer most recently participated as a reviewer at PhotoNOLA in New Orleans, and she will also be a reviewer at the Society of Photographic Educators National Conference in Atlanta, Photo Lucida in Portland, Oregon, and at Atlanta Celebrates Photography's portfolio review this Fall. In addition to these portfolio reviews, she is the creator of the on-going program, Roundtable Review.
