Midsummer Mozart Festival:Winery Tour and Potluck

Please join fellow alumni at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 23 for an evening of wine tasting and Mozart music at the beautiful Gundlach Bundschu Winery in Sonoma. Peter Susskind, the Executive Director of the Midsummer Mozart Festival, will accompany us on the wine tasting tour, regale us with the history and stories of the Festival and answer whatever questions you may have regarding this beloved Bay Area music institution.

Founded in 1974 by George Cleve, one of the world's great interpreters of Mozart, and a consortium of musicians, the Festival is the only one in North America dedicated exclusively to Mozart. Under the baton of Maestro Cleve, the Festival's acclaimed orchestra presents a fresh and intelligent interpretation of the work of Mozart.
Popularly known as Gun Bun, the Gundlach Bundschu Winery is a 6th generation family-run business. With its gentle rolling hills and lush grounds, the winery provides the perfect setting for the Mozart Festival.
Gun Bun is located at 2000 Denmark Street, Sonoma, CA 95476. The winery tour starts at 4 p.m. and the concert at 6 p.m. Please bring VERY LOW BACK chairs and blankets. Dress in layers. And please bring a dish or two to share. No alcoholic drink from outside the winery is allowed.
$56 if registered before June 30; $66 thereafter.
