The Trillion Dollar Question or Finding Your Way Through the Clouds of Health Care Reform
July 22, 2010: 5:45 PM - 8:00 PM
It’s the trillion dollar question: What should health care look like in the USA and how do we get there?
What are the ongoing issues, challenges, and what is likely to change in the Health Care Industry with pending legislation and emerging medical technologies? What do health care companies, hospitals, and doctors need these days and how can consultants help? There are many opinions, many national models to learn from, heated debates on concepts of access and how to maintain economic and technological competitiveness, not to mention day to day operational and strategic issues.
Come hear a panel of industry experts explain new emerging opportunities, ongoing issues and “panic projects” in an age of reform. The presenters will cover a broad spectrum of industry topics including operations, marketing and technology issues.
450 N Cityfront Plaza Drive, Room 100
If you are a consultant working in this area, this panel will be invaluable to you for understanding some of your clients’ issues, how and why they hire consultants and what they really need now and going forward.
If you work in this industry, you’ll hear about the issues your peers, competitors and wider professional network face and how they are thinking about and addressing them.
The panelists will give a general overview of their area of the industry, the strategic and operational issues they face, how they or their clients are responding to health care reform and advances in health care technology and management, then we will open it up for a broader Q&A.
