Event Details
We are pleased to invite you to a special event featuring speaker Prof. Dietmar Harhoff, Chair of the Commission of Experts for Research and Innovation, and Director of the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition, as well as Harvard Alumnus (MPA 1987).
Established by the Federal Government of Germany in 2006, the Commission of Experts for Research and Innovation (Expertenkommission Forschung und Innovation--EFI) was set up with a mission to maintain Germany's leading role in higher education, scientific research, industrial product development, and technological performance. The EFI presents its annual report to Chancellor Merkel, looking at structures, trends, and performance; and recommending public policy for German research and innovation. We are privileged that Prof. Harhoff will discuss the EFI's most recent report with us.
Prof. Erik E. Lehmann, board member of the Bavarian American Academy and Professor of Management and Organization at Augsburg University, will introduce Prof. Harhoff and moderate the discussion afterwards.
Early registration is encouraged, as space is limited.
We look forward to seeing you there!
