Strong relationships are crucial for success, particularly in a difficult economy, yet the practical skills of relationship-building are too often overlooked. As a continuation of the Rain Making Series with Gary Pines, the Chicago Booth Alumni Club offers this hands-on work group is designed to help alumni become more effective at relationship building for business development, managerial effectiveness, sales or job hunting. The monthly work group includes specific readings for small group discussion where participants will learn how to build an effective network, interact to develop their networking techniques and skills and share best practices. Participants will be encouraged to support each other in attaining the results they seek. Accordingly, this program will be of greatest value to those participants who are prepared to take action to maximize the value of their relationship networks.
