Event Details

Finding The Right Collaborations & Being the Best Collaborator You Can Be Collaborations provide access to new knowledge and new people, enabling better results. This is the first of several sessions as part of the Booth Alumni Club's Collaboration on Collaboration series. Our objective is to help participants optimize their results from launching and participating in collaborations. In this workshop, we'll present key concepts around: 1. Finding the right collaborations -- finding the right people operating together in the best way to be your collaborators. * Places to look and strategies to use to find potential collaborators * Evaluating potential collaborations and potential collaborators 2. Being the best collaborator you can be - the frames of minds and behaviors that make you most effective (and most attractive) as a collaborator. At this hands-on workshop we'll identify, explore and test our interpersonal behaviors, preferences and attitudes so we can more fully capitalize on what collaborators can offer. Participants will leave with better strategies for collaborating. Participants will also have some opportunities after this session to get some support in using the strategies.
