What are the legal, tax, financial, account, liability/risk and practical considerations of doing business as a: • Corporation (S or C corporation) • Partnership • Limited liability company • Limited partnership • Other forms, including trusts Mike Weis will discuss the pro’s and con’s of various legal forms of doing business, relating them to the nature of the business, investors and risks involved. Both an attorney and a CPA, Mike is experienced in business and real estate transactions. He is a partner with the Chicago law firm of Barnes & Thornburg.
