From Lenox Square:
Drive north on Peachtree Road past Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza. After Phipps Plaza, (on your left) you will pass one traffic light at Wieuca Road and one traffic light at Peachtree Dunwoody Road. Continue north on Peachtree Road for approximately .5 mile. At the second traffic light, take a left onto Club Drive. Turn at the 2nd right, which is Capital City Lane. It will dead end at the Club entrance.

Event Details

Three investment professionals will present their views of the upcoming year on Wall Street and share their best investment ideas for 2016. Awards for the top performance in 2015 will be presented to the winning amateur and professional. We will collect your picks for 2016 to see who can amass the best return with a $100,000 (monopoly money) portfolio and we will pick a dartboard portfolio.

Speaker Profiles

Joseph Sroka (Speaker) '97

Joe is the Chief Investment Officer of NovaPoint Capital. He has 20 years' experience in the investment management industry. Prior to founding NovaPoint, he was a portfolio manager at Spectrum Advisory Services, GMT Capital in Atlanta, and Epoch Investment Partners in New York. He has also worked as an equity research analyst at Merrill Lynch, ABN Amro, and RBS Research. Before beginning his investment career, Joe was an Infantry officer in the U.S. Army. Joe holds a BS from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is both a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Chartered Market Technician.

Bill Vogel (Speaker)

Bill is the Chief Executive Officer, President and Portfolio Manager of Montag & Caldwell. Bill joined Montag & Caldwell in 1988 as a portfolio manager and research analyst. Bill entered banking after receiving his BS from Bucknell University in 1973, then his MBA at Duke University. He then served as a commercial loan officer with First Union National Bank in North Carolina. In 1981, he changed careers and worked as a securities analyst and portfolio manager for seven years in the Trust Investment Department of Wachovia Bank. He is the Chairman of the Investment Committee of the North Georgia United Methodist Foundation and Chairman of the Onnie Mae Spruill Foundation. He also serves as a Board member of Global Health Action and the Grant Park Health Clinic; is an Advisory Board member of Action Ministries; heads the Endowment Committee of the Dunwoody United Methodist Church; and is a member of the Board of Visitors of the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and the Rotary Club of Atlanta. His professional affiliations include the CFA Institute and the Atlanta Society of Finance and Investment Professionals.

Thomas F. Heald (Speaker)

Thomas is Vice President of Eads & Heald Investment Counsel, and is responsible for portfolio management and securities analysis. Tom began his career as a CPA in the Atlanta office of Ernst & Young where he served nearly three years. The following five years he served with Cox Enterprises in the area of corporate finance. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia and an MBA from Emory University. Tom is a CFA charterholder, a member of the CFA Institute, and a member of the Atlanta Society of Financial Analysts.
