Alumni Career Programs invites you to attend Boston Career Month on Wednesday, November 18, 2015. Whether you're looking to hire fellow Maroons, want to build your professional network or are interested in serving as a networking contact for others, please consider attending this event.
Statistics show that close to 80% of all jobs are found through some form of networking, but networking is not a natural activity for the majority of people and many do not even know where to begin. We are going to approach this challenge the UChicago way - by discussing some of the academic research on human networks and how to navigate them. Then we'll move into some structured networking activities to allow you to put your new knowledge into practice right away. Of course, the whole event will be book-ended by time for cocktails and conversation with your fellow alums.
