Event Details

University of Notre Dame Chief Investment Officer, Scott C. Malpass, and Ave Maria University's Business Department Chair, Dr. Gabriel Martinez, will offer their insights at the Investment Strategy and 2015 Economic Outlook Conference at Ave Maria University. The program will kick-off at 11 AM.  Dr. Martinez will start the program with an outlook for the economy in 2015. Dr. Martinez chairs the AMU business department and specializes in economic crises studies. Scott Malpass will follow with a talk on investment strategy. Malpass enjoys celebrity-like status in institutional investor circles for growing Notre Dame’s endowment to the 12th largest in the country, the largest of any Catholic university, with a remarkable 19.7% return in 2014.

With a possible economic collapse in Russia, dramatically falling crude prices, possible interest rate increases by the Federal Reserve, and a Dow Jones Industrial Average flirting with 18,000, the Conference is particularly timely for investors of all levels, who are faced with more unknowns by the day.  The Investment Strategy and 2015 Economic Outlook Conference will give investors a distilled, independent, informed view of investments and the overall economic outlook for 2015.

Cost

The presentation is open to the public, and costs $10 to attend. A buffet lunch starts at 12:30 PM after the conclusion of the presentation, is also open to the public, and costs $30. Attendees should register by January 27th by contacting Stacy Laffere via phone or email: (239) 280-1565 or Stacy.Laffere@avemaria.edu.
